A young man is liable to ditch burglary for another career path...just as soon as he changes his pants.
Police tell News Radio 1200 WOAI a man police say was probably in his late teens tried to break into a home on Timber Stream, which is located near Tezel Road in the Great Northwest.
The man ran smack into the homeowner, who pulled a handgun and opened fire.Police say she fired one time, and apparently didn't hit the wanna-be burglar, but it was enough to send him scampering
.Police say he was making his getaway in a Crown Victoria with a dragging bumper.
Needs to work on that getaway car thing, too.
