Bexar County Deputies have arrested a 38 year old man in connection with a scary crime in northeast Bexar County, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Deputies say Demetric Jackson drove up to a home in the 6200 block of Robin Forest, which if off Montgomery and Walzem, Wednesday night, grabbed a two year old girl, threw her into his car and drove off.
San Antonio Police and Bexar County Deputies, acting on tips from the public, scoured the city over the last two days and arrested Demetic Jackson on a kidnapping charge.He was apprehended in the 400 block of Hub, which is in the Wheatley Heights neighborhood on the east side.
The little girl is okay and is in the custody of her mother.
Sheriff's investigators say this is not a 'random crime.' He says Jackson is 'known to the child's mother,' but his relationship to the child is not known.
