A Comal County tuber who was pulled out of the Comal River by friends following a rafting accident died this morning at University Hospital in San Antonio, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
New Braunfels Police say Kathryn Walker, 26, was not breathing when she was pulled from the river at the last tuber's exit Saturday evening. CPR was performed and restored her breathing, and she was rushed to University Hospital in San Antonio by Airlife helicopter.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital early this morning.
An autopsy has been ordered and officials still aren’t sure what happened, and how Walker managed to end up in the river. Officials say foul play is not suspected.
