Tony Parker today signed a multi year contract extension with the San Antonio Spurs. Details were not announced, but it expected to keep Parker in a Spurs uniform for the rest of his pro basketball career.
Parker, 32, has been with the Spurs through four of their five NBA championships. He was picked with the 28th overall choice in the 2001 NBA draft. Since then, Parker has become one of the top players in Spurs history, being named to four All-NBA teams, appearing in six All Star games including the 2014 All Star Game, and leading the Spurs in assists, and being the Spurs leading scorer each of the past four seasons.
Of active NBA players, only Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant have appeared in more post season games than Parker.
