Fans of Sir Paul McCartney lined up at the box office of the new Tobin Center for the Performing Arts today to buy tickets to a once in a lifetime concert in the intimate 1700 seat HEB Hall.
Tickets start at $1,000.
The former Beatle will perform a benefit for the new Tobin Center for the Performing Arts at the HEB Theater at the Tobin Center October first.
On the Tobin Center's web site, the center said ticket sales will be limited to 1750, and it will be an 'evening to remember.'
"McCartney will feature music from the most beloved catalog in popular music, as he performs songs spanning his entire career, as a solo artist, member of Wings, and, or course, as a Beatle," the Tobin Center says on it's web site. "The set list will include material from Paul's most recent studio album, NEW, a global hit upon its release last year."
McCartney, the Tobin Center says, will perform the music which is the sound track to many people's lives, and will 'feature music from the most beloved catalog in popular music.'
