Hundreds of people spilled onto the streets of downtown following the final buzzer in Oklahoma City last night, to celebrate the Spurs Western Conference championship, 1200 WOAI news reports.
As always, the celebrations were peaceful and orderly, but police say one man took it too far.
Police say a man was riding on top of an SUV that was pulled over by officers on Burton Ave, which is on the south side.
Police told the guy to get off the roof, but after the officers left he apparently got back on the roof and was riding on the SUV when it hit a bump.
He was thrown off the vehicle and landed on the pavement on his head.
He was rushed to SAMMC in critical condition.
