A so-called 'soft lockdown' is underway at Madison High School, the second time in two days that students have been locked down at the North East ISD school.

Officials tell 1200 WOAI news that a student 'received a text message that contained a potential threat.'

No weapons have been found and there has been no actual threat of violence.

Yesterday, a Madison student was arrested for allegedly carrying three guns, including an AK-47, onto campus, and vowing to commit violence if he wasn't allowed to 'broadcast a message on the intercom.
