UPDATE 8/11 11:54

They're tracking down some leads, but Miami-Dade police won't say what they are as they investigate the shooting death of an Orthodox Rabbi walking to temple in North Miami.

Major Hector Llevat says it appears to be a robbery, even though the Rabbi wasn't carrying a wallet.  Orthodox rabbi's do not carry wallets or any other valuables on them during Shabbat.

Police don't think this is a hate crime, but they're not ruling it out.

During the Rabbi's funeral, another rabbi's car was keyed with a swastika and cross.

A 50-thousand-dollar reward for information leading to an arrest in the Rabbi's death.

Is this a robbery gone wrong or a hate crime ???  That's what Miami-Dade police are expected to answer as they investigate the murder of Rabbi Joseph Raksin in North Miami-Dade.

Cops say two men approached him as he was walking to temple Saturday -a fight erupted, and they shot him dead.

Police say they don't think he was specifically targeted ---But the temple is close to a temple spray-painted with swastikas a few weeks ago and the Orthodox community wants answers.

Hundreds turned out to his funeral Sunday---Raksin was in town from New York visiting his daughter and grandchildren for his 60th Birthday.

The reward for information leading to an arrest is now up to 50-thousand-dollars.
