UPDATE 8/20 9:45 PM
While her loved ones and Fort Lauderdale Police searched high and low for her, 14-year-old Shaina McBride was crashing at a Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel with her 19-year-old boyfriend.
Police say McBride spent the last five days at the Casa Alhambra Hotel with James Adam Pescovitz-Gider, 19, with whom she had been in a relationship since June. Detectives say the couple had consensual sex several times since she was reported missing on Friday.
Pescovitz-Gider has been arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a minor.
The search for a missing Fort Lauderdale teen is over.
Shaina McBride, 14, has been found.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement reports McBride is at a police station and is in good condition.
Police have spent several days looking for McBride who vanished after exiting her father's houseboat in Fort Lauderdale to text her friends on a nearby patio area.
A dive team went underwater Monday in the canal by her father's home looking for McBride.
And, Fort Lauderdale Police continued the search on Tuesday.
The teen's family did not believe she had run away, and they were fearing the worst.
Officials did not say how or where McBride was found.
