Anti-Human Trafficking Billboards Go Up In South Florida

Anti-Human Trafficking Billboards Go Up In South Florida
Posted June 11th, 2014 @ 12:02pm

Clear Channel Outdoor is one of the partners that has joined the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, the City of Miami, and the Switchboard of Miami in an effort to raise awareness on human trafficking.

The billboard campaign was recently launched and intends to inform people of a hotline that is available to report suspicion of sex trafficking of children in our community.

Criminalized under both federal and Florida law, human trafficking is defined as the transporting, soliciting, recruiting, harboring, providing, or obtaining of another person for transport; for the purposes of forced labor, domestic servitude or sexual exploitation using force, fraud and/or coercion.
